Happy Sunday, Acacia Families!
Congratulations to Ms. Collins’ class for winning our Attendance Challenge! They celebrated their accomplishment with a well-earned ice cream party on Thursday. Way to show up, Cubs!
We are excited to kick off our Enrichment Clusters this Friday! Clusters give our Cubs an opportunity to explore their interests, discover new talents, and learn alongside students from across our school.
School tours for families interested in Acacia for the 2027–2028 school year begin in November. Please use the link below to view upcoming tour dates and information.
If your child will be absent from school, please contact the office to learn whether an Independent Study Packet may be appropriate. When the requirements for Independent Study are completed, qualifying absences can be changed from unexcused to excused. Please plan ahead whenever possible so our staff has time to prepare materials.
We are still looking for an Acacia representative for the African American District Advisory Council (AADAC). Having Acacia represented is important as we work to ensure the voices and experiences of all of our students and families are heard. Please reach out if you are interested in learning more.

PTA News
🍂 So Much to Look Forward to This October!
We have lots of fun things coming up at Acacia this month!
Our Fall PTA newsletter is below with all the dates and details, but we wanted to share a few things we’re especially excited about.
Enrichment Clusters begin this Friday!
With nearly 20 different clusters for students to explore, we can’t wait for the fun to begin! If you haven’t already, ask your student which cluster they’re in and what they’ll be getting to do. A huge thank you to our teachers and all of the parents volunteering their time to make this special opportunity possible for our Cubs!
Also coming up is our Harvest Festival on Wednesday, October 28!
Harvest Festival is a special school-day event filled with games and activities for all of our students. Our Amazon Wishlist is now live if you’d like to help us gather some of the supplies we’ll need for the day, and volunteer opportunities will be coming soon!
We’re also looking for Acacia Community Sponsors for this school year. If you know a local business that might be interested in supporting our students, we’d love for you to share the sponsorship information below.
Questions or ideas? We’d love to hear from you at acaciapta@gmail.com.
Thank you for all the ways you support our cubs and our community!
With appreciation,
Vanessa and Shelby

- Please respect our reserved parking spots for principal and school staff
- Please do not stop in red zones for any reason, even to quickly drop off a student or to run into the office
- Do not exit your vehicle in the parking lot unless you have parked in a designated parking spot
- The yellow zone is for loading and unloading only - we will require you to move your vehicle if you are stationary in a yellow zone without a student leaving or entering your vehicle

- Be attentive for pedestrians and courteous at all times
