THE BEAR ESSENTIALS
Week of May 18, 2026
Hello Bear Families,
As we enter the final stretch of the school year, the next month will move very quickly. There is a great deal still to accomplish, and this time is critical for students to finish strong both academically and behaviorally. Please remember that there will be no school on Friday, May 22, and Monday, May 25, as we observe Memorial Day.
Although the end of the year is in sight, students must remain focused and committed to their learning. Daily attendance, arriving at class on time, and staying current with assignments all play a major role in a successful finish. This is often a time when students can lose momentum, so we'd appreciate your support at home in reinforcing the importance of finishing the year with effort and responsibility. Checking in on grades, encouraging consistent routines, and maintaining open communication with your student can make a significant difference.
Information regarding summer school is included in this newsletter. For any student who has not successfully passed a core class, summer school will be an important opportunity to recover credit and stay on track for graduation. We strongly encourage families to review this information carefully and make a plan if needed. Our goal is to support every student in reaching the finish line successfully, and we appreciate your continued partnership in that effort.
With appreciation,
Go Bears!
Mr. Reynolds, Mr. Hickey, Mrs. Bukosky, Mr. Petrick, and Mr. Schley
