Spring break starts next week! There is no school for students this Friday, March 20 through Friday, March 27. We hope you enjoy the time away from the daily routine...and we hope we get some good weather!

🎉 Bobcat Bash 2026: Join the Fun & Help Build Your Classroom Basket!
We’re counting down to the Bobcat Bash on Friday, April 10! One of the biggest highlights each year is our silent auction, featuring creative themed baskets from every classroom along with fantastic donations from local businesses (Children's Theater, Bunker Beach, Treasure Island and more!).

Last week, you received details about your classroom’s basket theme (see attached flyer). If you’d like to contribute, please send a NEW item that fits your class theme to school by Friday, April 3.

Every donation—big or small—helps make these baskets shine. And the best part? 100% of the proceeds from the Bobcat Bash and silent auction go right back to the PTO to support programs and experiences that enrich your child’s education. We truly couldn’t do this without our families.

Want to get more involved? We’d love extra hands to help assemble baskets or organize items for the auction. If that sounds like your kind of fun, reach out to Katie Allen (katie.allen884@gmail.com or 612-760-3101).

🎟️ And mark your calendars: Wristband presales are almost here! March 30 - April 3 is your chance to snag wristbands early. We’ll share all the details right after spring break, but here’s the scoop:
- Preordering = skipping the lines + saving money.
- It’s a win‑win for families and makes your Bash night even smoother.

More info is coming soon, so stay tuned!

We’re excited to bring back the silent auction at this year’s Bobcat Bash on Friday, April 10! It will feature items from local businesses, memberships, and our popular classroom-themed baskets displayed in the media center.

Families are invited to donate a new item that fits their child’s classroom theme (see teacher list). Please send donations to school by Friday, April 3. Short on time? You can send cash or a check (payable to Cedar Island PTO), and the Carnival Committee will shop for you.

All proceeds support the PTO and benefit our students—thank you for your support!

Questions? Contact Katie Allen at katie.allen884@gmail.com or (612) 760-3101.

To help keep our classrooms focused and organized, we ask that students leave personal items from home at home (toys, important jewelry, electronics, etc) . These items can easily get lost, broken, or taken, and they often become a distraction during the school day.

Please note that the school is not responsible for lost or missing items, and staff are not able to help search for lost or misplaced belongings.

Thank you for your support in helping create a positive and productive learning environment for all students!
