Wessagusset Weekly News
June 16, 2024
Dear Families,
On Thursday we celebrated our 5th Graders with a very special ceremony hosted by our Grade 5 Team. A huge thank you to Mrs. Carr, Ms. Kuhn, Mrs. Lindquist, and Mrs. Ruprecht for planning such a memorable event! We will miss our 5th graders very much, but know they will have a fantastic experience in middle school. Friday's highlights included a fabulous "Publishing Party" to celebrate the talented young authors in Ms. Matheson's class, and a fantastic meet-up between our 4th Graders and their Pen Pals from the Weymouth Senior Center, organized by Mrs. Litchfield. So many great experiences for our students this week! Enjoy the photos below.
Believe it or not, this is the last Sunday message of the 23-24 school year! (You get a well-deserved break from my Sunday afternoon reminder that the weekend is ending😉). June is the perfect time to reflect on how much our students have grown during the school year. They have learned so much and made lasting friendships. Our students’ hard work, love of learning, and kindness have made our school the positive, vibrant place it is. We are so proud of their progress and hope you are too!
Finally, a very Happy Father’s Day to all of the wonderful dads, grandfathers, step-dads, bonus dads, and uncles in the Wessagusset community. We see and appreciate all of the love and support you give our students. Enjoy your special day!
Chromebook Collection Tomorrow!
We will be collecting students’ devices tomorrow, June 17th! K-4 students should be sure to bring their Chromebook or iPad and charger to school tomorrow for summer collection.
