Dear McKelvey Primary Families,
Coming up on soon on Tuesday, March 10th, we will have our Art, Music, and Books event. There is a detailed flyer below so be sure to check that out. We will also have the book fair that week. There is a lot of information about the book fair and Donuts with Dragons in this newsletter too!
PTO has added a bunch of dates and events to the calendar! Please look at those and mark your calendars!

May 1 – Kentucky Derby Hat Competition
Break out your creativity and show off your best Derby hat!
May 4–8 – Teacher Appreciation Week (Look for details on ways you can help show appreciation!)
May 6 – McKelvey Night at Parkway North Boys Volleyball at Parkway North 5:30 PM
May 9 – McKelvey Night at the City2 Game 4:00 PM
Below is a link to our district calendar (click the blue button) as well as a snapshot of the half and no school days throughout the year. We know unplanned absences will occur, but your child's attendance is extremely important. We miss them when they are gone and they miss important learning and social interaction when they are not at school. If possible, when planning for appointments and/or vacations, please attempt to use the afternoons of half days or days off school throughout the year.
This must be done yearly!
If you are in need of assistance with breakfast or lunch money, please complete the Free and Reduced lunch process. This must be done EVERY Year.
