Morning Arrival Reminder for Families
As a reminder, please help us keep all students safe and supervised before the 7:43 bell.
If your child goes to breakfast, please remain in the designated breakfast area until the bell rings. Students should not proceed to classrooms early.
Running Club is for running—students should remain active and supervised.
Students should not loiter near fences, and play structures are off limits before school begins.
Please do not go to classrooms prior to the 7:43 bell.
Thank you for supporting a safe, calm, and orderly start to each school day.
Traffic Safety Reminder for Families
As we work together to keep our school community safe, we ask all families to follow city traffic laws around campus at all times, including speed limits, parking regulations, and designated drop-off and pick-up procedures.
Please also respect and follow directions from our Safety Patrol students and adult supervisors. They are there to help keep everyone safe, and your cooperation makes a meaningful difference.
Thank you for modeling safe, respectful behavior and helping us ensure a safe arrival and dismissal for all students.

Gators in Action
Kindness (and Compassion) Challenge: Accepted!
This past week, our Gators showed what it truly means to be a caring school community. Across campus, students demonstrated kindness and compassion in big and small ways — helping classmates who were hurt on the playground, including others in games at recess, offering encouragement during learning challenges, and showing patience and respect toward one another. These everyday actions are powerful reminders that a positive school culture is built through how we treat each other, and I am proud of the empathy our students continue to model.
We also had a special opportunity to see connection and leadership in action when Mrs. Brill’s class partnered with Dr. Lopez’s class for reading buddies. Our kindergarten and fifth-grade students spent time reading together, practicing skills, and building relationships across grade levels. The fifth graders demonstrated responsibility and encouragement as mentors, while our kindergarteners showed enthusiasm and curiosity as learners. It was a wonderful example of community, leadership, and the joy of reading shared across ages.
Last week, we focused on demonstrating acts of kindness across our campus. Many students participated in kindness challenges to show compassion and care for others. One of our third graders proudly shared with Mrs. Bugarin that she had completed almost all of the challenges, including making someone smile and writing a letter to someone she loves.
Due to the rainy weather, some recess activities were paused. By Friday, the sun was shining and so were our students. Here is a glimpse of our Kindness Chalk Talk.
