Message from the Principal
Wow! What a week!
Our teachers are feeling the love, thanks to your generosity during conferences. The delicious treats and thoughtful gestures truly kept everyone fueled and smiling. A happy tummy makes for a happy teacher, and we are beyond grateful!
A special and heartfelt thank you to our amazing PTA officers and members for the countless ways you support our school—whether it’s through donations, volunteer hours, Recess Takeover, book fairs, classroom help and donations, or all the behind-the-scenes magic that makes our school such a wonderful place for our students. We see you, we appreciate you, and we couldn’t do it without you!
As we head into Spring Break, we hope you all enjoy some well-deserved rest, fun, and family time. Thank you for being such an incredible part of the Chloe Clark community.
With gratitude,
Loretta Duncan
Principal, Chloe Clark Elementary

Highly Capable
A note from the Highly Capable Program teacher, Mrs. Hannah Engstrom
Every Spring there is a window of opportunity for 1st-4th grade students to apply for the district’s Highly Capable Program. Any family is welcome to apply. Students who qualify may have advanced academic skills, display an abundance of creativity, or are amazing thinkers. Application forms are found on the district’s website on this page: Highly Capable Program or you may request a paper copy from your child’s classroom teacher. Applications are due April 14, 2025. Evaluation and testing will be completed in late April. If you have any questions about the program feel free to contact me via Parent Square or email at hengstrom@steilacoom.k12.wa.us.
