The 'Tops at Tech' awards recognize the most exceptional career and technical education students at South Tech for their professionalism, skill and curriculum mastery, responsibility, and willingness to go above and beyond.

Through our partnership with North & South Tech, students gain success-ready skills and specialized training beyond what is offered at their home schools.

Gabbie Kerber, Ava Silva and Brynne Smith, three seniors from Spark! Pre-Professional Health Sciences Academy, brought comfort, joy, and a little bit of childhood magic to hospital rooms at BJC St. Louis Children's Hospital.

Together, the trio raised over $1,000 to host a Build-A-Bear experience for patients and their families. As a Spark! passion project, Gabbie, Ava, and Brynne pursued and created something they were passionate about on their own time outside of class. To top it off, they made a charitable donation back to the hospital with the remaining fundraising dollars.
