Port Gardner students enjoy the Civic Education Tour at the Capitol!
Students were lucky enough to meet District 44 Senator John Lovick, Representative Brandy Donaghy, and Representative April Berg.
They “followed” a bill from idea, to the house, to the senate, and finally to the mayors office.
Students also participated in a mock trial at the state Supreme Court level, in the Temple of Justice.
Everyone was so respectful, had incredible ideas to share with their representatives, and REALLY enjoyed the mock trial.
