A Message From Mrs. Lucas, BHS Principal
Happy Friday Bobcat Families,
We are at the midpoint for Quarter 1, and I encourage you to look at your child's academic progress by visiting your ParentVUE. If you have any concerns, please reach out to the teacher(s). Together, we can ensure students are moving in the right direction for academic success.
Our Homecoming week was amazing: the parade was well attended, the game was a nailbiter, but we pulled it off, and the Homecoming Dance was exciting! We continue to offer opportunities for our students to build a positive culture in the school, and these events support our efforts. We are also looking for Battlefield alums to reach out to us in creating a Bobcat Alumni organization. The school has been open for 21 years and the alumni association is long overdue. If you know any former students or their parents, please ask them to contact me via email (LucasDM@pwcs.edu).
Finally, we will administer the PSAT on October 16th to 9-11 students; seniors will be asynchronous that day.
As a reminder, schools are closed Tuesday, September 23rd for a religious holiday.
Have a spectacular weekend!
Warm Regards,
Principal Lucas
