East News Flash

To all 2026-27 Junior/Senior Parents and Students,

It is almost time to begin signing up for courses for next school year. We invite you to attend Panther Preview on November 10th for an opportunity to visit with our teachers to learn more about courses you are considering taking for next year.

• This event will take place in the Plano East cafeteria and IB commons.
• 5:45 to 6:45 with a come-and-go session at your own pace, where you can visit with teachers about the classes you might have an interest in.
• At 6:45pm - Collin College will have a Dual Credit informational meeting in the auditorium. This meeting will run approximately 45 minutes to an hour.
• We will also have a special guest on campus to answer questions - the new CTE Center Principal will be here to answer questions about the facility that will open in the Fall of 2026 for our students.

• Take a moment to browse our course offerings: High School Course Catalog

Attention to students in classes associated with AP Classroom,

Whether you have an existing College Board account or are creating a new account make sure the email address on file is your PISD student email. You cannot use your personal email or phone number on your college board account. If you have any question your AP teachers can help walk you through this process. There is a google slides presentation that goes step by step they can share with you. This is necessary for you to be able to continue to access AP classroom throughout the school year as well as for AP testing. You can find more information here.
