A Message from Principal Anita O'Neill
May 31, 2026
Dear Coyote Community,
Happy Sunday! I hope you’ve had the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend. It certainly feels like summer is finally on its way, and I hope these sunny days continue.
As we begin to wind down the school year, I want to remind everyone that we still have about two full weeks of instruction remaining. Every day of learning matters, and we expect all students to remain engaged and present in their classes through the last day of school.
Recently, we have seen an increase in students avoiding class, which can result in loss of credit and may impact promotion to the next grade level. Families of students demonstrating these behaviors will be contacted, and students will be assigned appropriate in-school interventions. If students are not compliant with these interventions, caregivers may be asked to pick them up from school. While we are all looking forward to summer break, there is still important work to be done, and we encourage students to stay focused on their academic responsibilities.
Please be sure to review our calendar of events, as there are several opportunities for students and caregivers to connect this week. In particular, our PTSA is hosting a valuable session designed to help families support their children as they transition into adulthood and prepare for greater independence.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Let’s make these final weeks of the school year productive, positive, and successful for all students.
Warmly,
Ms. O’Neill
