Josten's Renaissance Update
Renaissance is a framework that helps to foster a learning environment where students thrive and teachers love coming to school. It is all about focusing on the positives and acknowledging when students and staff are doing the "right" thing.
For students, we use the metrics of attendance, grades, and discipline. Students can earn a RenCard for meeting our school-wide expectations. This week, we surprised students with our Blue Card Blitz: a mobile snack cart. Students who earned a Blue RenCard were treated to a mid-morning or afternoon snack as a thank-you for serving as exemplary students.
Student Assistance Fund Event: December 15
Last week, we collected 62 items for our Student Assistance Fund Food Drive! Because of that success, we are hitting repeat.
If you are planning on joining us for the basketball game on Monday, December 15, please consider donating something to our Food Drive to save a little on your ticket. For each canned food or hygiene item, you will receive $1 off of your admission.
