West End Dolphin Pod Squad,

I hope you and your family have been able to enjoy the cooler temperatures and some time outdoors! We had a fantastic first day of school on Friday, and I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our families for helping to make arrival and dismissal go smoothly.

As we continue into the school year, please remember to display your car tags clearly in the car line. If you need to make any transportation changes, please submit them by 2:00 PM each day, either by completing the online form or by calling (864) 397-2500. If you do not have your car tag, you may be asked to park and wait until the dismissal process is complete before we can release your student.

For the safety of all our students, we will not be able to accommodate dismissals after 2:00 PM. This time of day is crucial for our office staff, teachers, and students, and we want to ensure everything runs smoothly for everyone, including parents who are waiting patiently in the car line.

The School District of Pickens County is participating in CEP again this school year which means that all students can have a free breakfast and lunch each day. Students must have money on their accounts to purchase 2nd meals or for ala carte items.

West End is a Title 1 Schoolwide Model school again for the 2025-2026 school year! What does this mean for you as a parent?
