A Message from the Principal
Dear Academy Families and Friends,
Warmer weather is here! It's great to see the signs of spring and daylight savings time. There truly is an impact with the longer nights...just in time to get out and play, especially on Tuesday's half day!.
For starters this week, I'd like to say thank you to all the teachers and staff who shared a chapter with the students in our Mystery Reader program. We hope you and your child enjoyed tuning in each night and listening to the book Dragons in a Bag as much as we enjoyed making it! We'll have to do another one soon!
The ST Math Challenge has reached the end of week 1. Classes are competing for the top spot each week in what we call the March Mathness Challenge. Our goal is to have students maximize their puzzle completion and get those math skills cooking all throughout the month of March. While students will be working on puzzles during their math rotations, the big takeaway is at home each night. Thank you again for all the support with the program.
Updates our Health and Wellness Committee: The Wildcat Water Zone starts this Wednesday in the cafe. The teams are finalized, team packets for the 3 v 3 Basketball Tournament will be coming out Monday.
Thank you for all of your support, March is a busy month...but we say that every month here at Academy!
Mr. Higgins
Principal
