EHTPRESCHOOLWeek of May 21, 2023

ADMINISTRATOR ADMINISTRATOR

Dear Parents/Guardians:

Wow, Memorial Day weekend has arrived! Where does the time go?? Please take time this Monday to remember and honor all the service men and woman that have pasted and currently service in the armed services. These people are our heroes, and we can never forget the sacrifices given for our freedom.

Students had a busy week learning about different forms of music, learning to repurpose items to make bird feeders and some even learned a Polynesian Hula dance to celebrate the letter “H”.

Before we know it, the end of school will be upon us. We have a lot planned…

Next week, our preschoolers will begin to visit some kindergarten classrooms. The students will experience some fun activities, and this opportunity gives them a snapshot of some of the things they can look forward to next year.

On June 12, we hope you will be able to join us in celebrating your child’s school year and at their end of year celebrations. More information will be forthcoming from your child’s classroom teacher.

One of our biggest fundraisers of the school year is the Boosterthon. Teachers will be sending home information. Please know that you do not need to contribute to this event, but any donations from friends and family go directly to supporting extra activities and incentives for our students throughout the school year. This event will take place on June 13 and 14th.

I wish you all of you to have a fun, safe and relaxing weekend.

Sincerely,

Joe Marinelli

Principal

Miss Kimmy's music students had a blast this week learning about instruments that sound like the outdoors! In these pictures, we have friends trying out the guiro, chajchas, and the rain stick! We were even able to put seashells up to our ears to hear the ocean!

This week Ms. Kacey and Ms. Angies class celebrated our butterflies! We have been learning about insects and life cycles. We have been fascinated by the change of our caterpillars into beautiful butterflies. We released them outside and watched them fly into the sky!

Nature is Amazing!

Ms. Kacey and Ms. Paula took their class on a Nature Walk Adventure this week to find and identify various insects, flowers and trees! The children carried clipboards and a check list and later drew their findings with sidewalk chalk. The children shared and discussed drawings and everyone had a great time doing it!
