Principal's Message:

Fall weather has finally arrived, and with it comes Fall Break! This is a reminder that school will not be in session next week, October 12–16. We look forward to welcoming students back to South Terrace on Monday, October 19.

The week of October 19 will be a busy one with Parent/Teacher Conferences and two half days for students. Parent/Teacher Conferences will take place on Thursday, October 22, from 12–7 PM. Teachers should have already reached out to families to schedule a conference time, and we look forward to welcoming families into South Terrace!

Students will attend school for a half day (AM only) on Thursday, October 22, and Friday, October 23. Dismissal will begin at 11:00 AM and will follow the same process and timing used for a normal 2:30 PM dismissal. Lunch will be served both days prior to dismissal. YCare will be open as usual beginning at 11:00 AM.

Join us at South Terrace Elementary to meet new friends, earn a badge, experience a troop meeting, and learn how Girl Scouts is fun for the whole family!

Register for this three-part series to experience Girl Scouts firsthand, before choosing what works best for your family. Each event will feature a fun hands-on activity while allowing you to learn more about our programs, meet other families, and ask any questions you may have.

COST: $25 per girl for the entire series

School Smiles Dentist Coming to ST

The School Smiles Dentist is coming to our School! All students who have signed up for the program and are eligible to be seen will be receive dental services on Tuesday, October 20th by the dental team. As a reminder, the dental team will set up in the school and see your child during the school day. School Smiles offers an Exam, Cleanings, X-Rays, Fluoride, as well as same day treatment if needed. This treatment can consist of Fillings, Sealants, or SDF.
