The Capac Chronicle
November 7, 2025
Dear Capac Families,
As we move into November, I’m filled with gratitude for the incredible Capac Community Schools family. This month gives us the perfect opportunity to reflect on what makes our district special—dedicated students, supportive families, talented staff, and a community that rallies behind our schools.
We have much to celebrate this fall, from historic athletic achievements to continued academic growth. Our students are showing us every day what it means to be a Chief: demonstrating leadership, perseverance, and pride in their school and community.
As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, I encourage you to take time to connect with your children about their learning and experiences at school. Your involvement and support make all the difference in their success.
Thank you for being part of the Capac Chiefs family!
Sincerely,
Dr. Amy Nelson
Great things are happening in Capac Community Schools and the best is yet to come!
Together we are, Capac Strong. Go Chiefs!

Holiday Snack Pack Initiative
As we approach the Thanksgiving break, Capac Community Schools is working to ensure that no student goes without food while school is closed. Due to the recent suspension of SNAP benefits, some families may experience additional hardship during the five-day holiday break. To support our students, we are assembling snack packs for every child in the district, and we are inviting the community to help by purchasing items from our Amazon Wish List, linked here: https://a.co/iDVIO9b and social media pages.
If your family is in need of food support or other resources, please reach out to your school office or contact me directly—we are here to help.
Together, we can make sure every student enters the holiday feeling supported, cared for, and seen.

Expanding Opportunities for Students
