Message from Principal Flores
Dragons,
Thank you parents for showering our Dragons with gifts, cards and lots of love all week! As we continue in May attendance, behavior and academics continue to be a priority. Dragons are expected to follow student code of conduct at all times. Reminder that tardy bell rings at 7:45 am. We have lots of fun events planned and this is an exciting time for our students.
Tik Tok Challenge
Parents please speak to your Dragon about the laptop Tik Tok Challenge. Scholar will be subject to paying district device AND disciplinary action which would include Keys placement. Thank you for your help to ensure that our Dragons remain responsible.
End of Year Incentives
We have various events such as field trips, field day and prom for 8th Grade. Remind your Dragon that they must follow all school rules. If scholar receives an office referral, loss of privilege's will be the consequence.
STAAR Testing Incentive
To motivate our Dragons we will be replacing their 9 weeks scores IF their STAAR scores are at the Meets or Master's Level. Scores are to be released by the end of the month MAY. If they are released prior to 9 week testing, your child will not need to take their 9 Week assessment. See flyer for more details.
Fees for End of Year
Parents if your child owes any fees for library, technology, cafeteria or LOC. This all must be cleared to attend any field trip, campus events including dance or field day. Please help us to clear out all fines.
