Benchmark Testing Week

This week our students will show what they know as we administer our first round of benchmark tests. It is very important that every student do their best, because the results help teachers determine the next steps for instruction. We also want students to be encouraged by their progress.

How can you help at home? First, talk to your child about the importance of learning and the benefits of testing feedback. You can review their data tracker at home and have them show you their interactive notebook for each content area.

If you really want to give them a boost, think about the notes you used to receive in your lunchbox at elementary school. Our middle school kids are not too old for encouraging notes. Send a note to school each day to tell them you are proud of them, and to encourage them to give their best effort on each test.

Thank you for your support in the ongoing education of our Mustangs. We always love to see parents get involved on campus. Below are helpful links with information about testing and how to become a volunteer.
