Week In Review and A Look Ahead
August 21, 2026
Notes from the Principal
We're ready and excited to welcome our students on the first day of school, Monday, August 24! Students will be bringing home some items for parent/guardian signatures that will need to be returned to school during the week, so please be on the lookout.
As a reminder, we have modified schedules on our first two days of school. On the first day, students will be going outside at some point during the day to walk to our reunification location in the event of an evacuation emergency. Proper footwear to walk on our grass fields is recommended. On the second day of school, we will have school pictures and health screenings.
Please continue to check Infinite Campus for busing information, as it does change leading up to the opening of school. Should you have questions, please contact our District Transportation at 610-473-3473 or transportation@boyertownasd.org.

Here are a few simple reminders to help make every school day a great one!
🐻 Bear Essentials First! Be Respectful, Responsible, and Safe.
🍎 Morning Reminder: Breakfast is available in the cafeteria every full school day. If you aren't eating breakfast, 6th graders report to the gym and 7th & 8th graders report to the auditorium.
🙌 Hands to Yourself! Keep your hands to yourself, especially in the hallways and cafeteria.
😊 Mind Your Manners! Please, thank you, and kind words go a long way. Keep your language clean and respectful.
💻 Charge It Up! Bring your Chromebook to school fully charged every day.
📱 Phones Away! Keep cell phones and smart watches safely in your locker.
🏷️ Label Your Stuff! Put your name on folders, calculators, water bottles, gym clothes, and other belongings.
🤝 Be Kind! Treat others the way you want to be treated.
⭐ Give Your Best! Put forth your best effort every day.
🙋 Ask for Help! Questions are part of learning. Don't be afraid to ask—we're here to support you!

Car Rider Information
To help ensure a safe and efficient arrival and dismissal process for all students and families, please follow the procedures below.
Arrival and Dismissal Traffic
- All vehicles dropping off or picking up students must enter through the east-side entrance of the school property.
- During the morning arrival and the afternoon dismissal times, all vehicles must turn right onto Big Road when exiting the school property.
Morning Drop-Off
Students should exit their vehicles once they have reached the designated sidewalk and all vehicles have come to a complete stop.
Please do not wait until your vehicle reaches the front entrance of the drop-off area to have your child exit. Doing so creates unnecessary backups and slows the entire drop-off process.
If your child needs additional time to exit the vehicle, or if you have heavy or multiple items that need to be unloaded, please pull all the way forward to the front of the sidewalk. You may then take as much time as necessary without delaying the vehicles behind you. No cars should drive back behind the building and no drop-offs should occur at the Tennis Court lot. All students must be in Homeroom by 7:35 a.m.
Afternoon Pick-Up
Students will be waiting along the designated sidewalk and should enter their vehicle once the vehicle reaches the sidewalk and comes to a complete stop.
As with morning drop-off, please pull forward as far as possible before having your child enter the vehicle. This helps us keep the line moving efficiently and minimizes backups.
Important Pick-Up Timing
Please do not arrive for afternoon pick-up before 2:15 p.m.
Our dismissal process begins at 2:35 p.m. and typically takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. Vehicles arriving before 2:15 p.m. can interfere with late-afternoon visitors who need to safely enter the school property.
We appreciate your cooperation and patience as we work together to make arrival and dismissal safe, efficient, and smooth for everyone.
