Clark Weekly News
Week ending 9/26/25
A Note from your Principal
Dear Clark students, staff, and families,
Fall officially began this week and though we may not feel it in the trees and the weather quite the same as much of the country, we do feel the other changes that come with the season including football, snowbirds, festivals, and more. I like to use the change of seasons to take a little personal inventory and see what I may want to adjust for the upcoming season. This week, I actually decided to chase the actual fall weather with a trip to OH, MI, and IN!
With gratitude,
Dr. Judd

Staff Spotlight
💚🖤Get to know your Clark family🖤💚
Meet one of our amazing ELA teachers, Mrs. Croft.
When asked to help get to know her better, she shared "I’m originally from South Georgia, where I developed a lifelong love of learning—and a southern accent to match. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Indian River State College and am certified in 6–12 English Language Arts, Reading, and ESOL. Currently, I’m pursuing certification in Exceptional Student Education (ESE) and working toward a Master’s degree in Composition and Rhetoric. With a strong passion for literacy and student growth, I bring energy, empathy, and dedication to my classroom. Outside of work, I’m a proud boy mom, an avid reader and crocheter, and a die-hard college football fan—Go DAWGS (and sometimes Gators)! My husband and I share our home with our two sons, two Labrador retrievers, and two cats."
In just her second year at Clark, Mrs. Croft is an English teacher, Yearbook teacher, sponsor of the revived Crane Chronicle Writing Club, and co-sponsor of NHS. When asked what she loves about Clark she shared, "I love being part of the team at Clark Advanced Learning Center because of the incredible culture of support and motivation that defines our school. Our students are remarkably driven and genuinely engaged in their learning, which makes teaching here both rewarding and inspiring. What truly sets Clark apart, though, is the sense of community created by the staff. From day one, I’ve felt welcomed, valued, and part of something special. We’re more than colleagues... we’re a Crane family, working together to help every student succeed."
We are so grateful for such a dedicated team member who goes above and beyond to help our students!
