Message from the Principal
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and from our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
I pray that the long weekend was a refreshing time for your child(ren). During this break, our teachers had the opportunity to attend the district teachers conference at St. Paul’s Lutheran School in Lake Mills. This time provided valuable opportunities to gain further insight and training in best teaching practices. The presentations focused especially on strengthening mathematic instruction, equipping us with tools to better support our students’ growth.
A true blessing of this conference was the continued emphasis on Christ at the center of all that we teach. Just as our students are blessed each day by learning in a Christ-centered environment, our teachers were also blessed to gather with fellow Christian educators for encouragement and growth. If you have any questions regarding the conference, please feel free to reach out.
May we continue to share the good news in both word and action.
In Christ,
Jace Fellers, Principal
New This Week
Singing Schedule
1st through 8th grade will be singing at St. John's on Wednesday, February 25th, during the 7:00 p.m. Lenten Service. Please be at St. John's by 6:45 p.m. Thank you!
Lenten Service Pick up Procedure
The students will be dismissed in a different way during the lenten season. The students will be picked up by the school door entrance (Door B). The families will follow the route as depicted in the diagram. Students will begin walking out at 2:50 pm.
Parents who are planning on taking their child(ren) to the service must retrieve their child(ren) from outside. Parents may go through the pickup line to get their child(ren) or may park and take their child(ren) into the service from the pickup line. If you are intending on going to the service, please park on the right side of the parking lot.
Children must have permission from a parent or guardian to attend church with another family. This is to ensure that all children are being picked up by the proper individual. A phone call to the school office explaining the plan will suffice.
If there are questions, please reach out to the school front office. Thank you!

Cheer Team News
This is a friendly reminder that Coach Scriver has signed up the CSJ Cheer Team to perform their dance routine from this past basketball season at the Time Talent Treasure Show on Friday, February 27th! They need to wear their cheer “uniform” and hair accessory, with poms, and a bright, cheery smile as they showcase their God-given talents on the stage in the gymnasium. There has been a change to the practice time prior to the performance…We will be having a brief practice during school on Friday, February 27th, to run through the routine on stage instead of after school. This brief rehearsal will take place during the students’ afternoon recess, for which classroom teachers have already given approval. Please contact the school office with any questions!
