Counselor's Corner with Mrs. Jasin
Dear Families,
As we wrap up another wonderful school year, here are a few simple tips to help your child have a happy and healthy summer:
Keep a routine: Try to keep regular bedtimes and mealtimes to give your child structure and stability.
Get outside: Parks, Gahanna Splash Pad (free before noon), walks, and free community events are great ways to stay active and spend time together.
Encourage reading: Visit your local library for free books, summer reading programs, and fun activities.
Limit screen time: Try to balance screen use with creative play, chores, or helping around the house.
Make memories: Enjoy time together—cook a meal, share stories, or play a simple game as a family.
Wishing you all a safe and joyful summer!
