As we approach the ninth week of school, our routines and procedures are firmly in place, and our students continue to learn and demonstrate our schoolwide expectations. We greatly value our parents and guardians and appreciate your partnership in helping every child succeed. We have a lot of items in our Lost & Found. Please encourage your student to check if they have misplaced and item. On the fourth Friday of each month, we will put items out during lunch for students to look through to see if anything belongs to them. Once we put things out at the end of the month, any items left will be donated.

Rock Hill Schools

Hello all,

This is Mrs. Dieguez in the office. I am your student information contact. We are almost to the end of our first 45 days of school. Our attendance incentive begins October 1st. This year we are working to have all students present and on time. Our classes will receive a poster for outside of their classrooms and will earn STARS for days all students are present. The first prize is awarded for earning 30 STARS – Ice Cream for the Class, 2nd Prize 20 Minutes of Extra Recess, and 3rd prize a game for the classroom. Please remember our doors open at 7am, 1st Bell at 7:40 and Tardy Bell at 7:45. Wishing everyone a RELAXING week during intersession.

In P.E., this month students in K4–5th are learning the fundamentals of Soccer by practicing kicking, dribbling, passing, and controlling the ball. They are developing their kicking skills by learning how to use both feet, aim at targets, and kick with power and accuracy during soccer activities, stations, and games.

Carolina Photography will be photographing Fall pictures at Sunset Park Elementary

School on Oct 1. Every student will be photographed!

You have three convenient ways to order your student's portraits:

1. Pre-Order Online through picture day: Visit www.carolinaphoto.net and click

“Order Photos Here” then enter your school’s name as the “code” or scan the QR

code below. On a mobile phone, just hold down the QR code to redirect.

2. Day-of Payment: Send the completed flyer with cash or check payment to

school to be handed to the photographer on picture day.

3. After picture day-Proof: Once pre-orders are delivered (approximately two

weeks after picture day), you will receive individual proofs with an online code for

online ordering. There will be a shipping charge to the home.
