KEWASKUM DISTRICT NEWS

MESSAGE FROM THE DISTRICT ADMINISTRATOR
Before winter break I shared the sad news of the passing of one of our cherished educators, Mrs. Connie Rohrer, who unexpectedly left us on Monday, December 16, 2024. Connie was a dedicated kindergarten teacher at Farmington Elementary, a beloved colleague, and a nurturing presence in the lives of so many children and families in our district.
Connie’s life was one marked by kindness, creativity, and service. Her classrooms were safe and joyful spaces where students could explore, grow, and thrive. Connie’s warmth and creativity inspired not only her students but also her colleagues and friends. Her legacy will live on in the countless lives she touched, the laughter and learning she brought to her classrooms, and the community she helped build within our district.
I want to thank the families, local business, PTO, and community organizations for their show of support for the students, families, and staff of Farmington Elementary School. I have been blown away by the generosity of our community.
As we grieve the loss of Connie, let us also celebrate the extraordinary life she lived and the profound impact she had on our community. Together, we will honor her memory by continuing to uphold the values she so beautifully embodied—kindness, dedication, and a genuine belief in the potential of every child.
