#ItsAlwaysAGreatDayAtHowePreK
Greetings
This week will be full of Celebration!
Our End of Year Ceremonies will be held for each class.
Thank you in advance for understanding that our PreK regulations do not allow us to have balloons and most flowers and plants on campus.
Our last day of school will be Wednesday May 25.
We had a number of families come out to listen to our teachers share the key skills that have been a part of the preK curriculum-that will continue to set your child(ren) up for success in Kindergarten and beyond! If you could not make it-or did attend and have more questions, please do not hesitate to contact your child's teacher or the front office.
Reminder-Kindergarten Enrollment is still Open! You are expected to enroll at your district Kindergarten (and if interested in applying to some of our district choice schools or year-round schools, that can be done after completing the online district enrollment)
Please see this link for more information: NHCS Kindergarten Enrollment
Teachers are also sharing out information on their End of Year Celebration date and time that will take place in May.
As always-please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions.
Take very good care,
Lauren Nalepa
Principal

Assistant Principal

*Please reach out to your child(ren)'s teacher if you are in need of a car pass to continue to help our PM carline run smoothly.
*Please know that we will continue to require written change of transportation for students. We cannot accept transportation changes by phone for safety purposes.
Attendance
Thank you for working so hard with us to have your child at school before 7:45am and for keeping them in school until dismissal at 1:45pm.
There will always be the occasional appointment-but the benefit to your child keeping this routine allows them to stay involved and connected with all learning all activities that will take place in their classrooms from the morning late bell at 7:45am until the afternoon dismissal bell at 1:45pm.

Volunteers/Adult Visits on Campus
Families-as we get acclimated to this school year and the needs of our staff and students, we hope to have volunteers and visits on campus. Thank you for being patient with us as we focus our attention on the needs of the children first as they transition to our building and staff.
As you know, we will only share information with you as your child's guardian/parent-please share with grandparents and/or other loved ones of your child that we appreciate them greatly-but that we will not have visits on campus just yet.
The below link is the NHCS Volunteer Training Level 1 and the form linked is a mini quiz to show evidence that you have reviewed this mandatory material before volunteering on campus with us when we do start having more adults on campus with us.
(The NHCS link also has information on the Tier II Training which is the background check)
