Damsel In Defense... Mission To Protect
Have you ever found yourself in an unsafe or threatening situation? Ever known someone who has? Then you've come to the right place. Damsel In Defense is a company offering personal safety and self defense products for women. The founders, Mindy Lin and Bethany Hughes, wanted to provide women with non-lethal options for safety. While wanting to offer products that are cute and sassy, they wanted to offer options that were actually effective at disabling an attacker.
The Damsel Mission is to EQUIP women with products that can protect them, EMPOWER women to protect themselves, and to EDUCATE women by encouraging them to back up their purchase with self-defense training. The goal of Damsel In Defense is not to scare women, but to instill confidence. The goal is to take the intimidation out of personal safety and let women know that they have a way out if they ever feel threatened.
