Hello Woodstock Family!
It is a fun week to be part of the Woodstock Pride!! π¦
A whole week of spirit is capped off with our annual Harvest Carnival. π
Join us this Friday, October 23rd, from 6-8 pm for Myths and Magic. Through the hard work of many volunteers, Woodstock Elementary will be turned into the event of the season! π
We need additional volunteers to bring the magic! Volunteering builds community. It allows people to connect around something we all helped to create. Family friendships are built in the line for the bounce house and from behind the bake sale table. Laughs are shared over toy skeletons and bonds are created through garages full of candy and cardboard. π¦π¬
Help strengthen our community and check your schedules to see if you can help us bring this event to life. We are in particular need of Bounce House attendants. Without folks to handle the lines we will not be able to have this popular attraction open.πͺ
Don't want a full shift? Split your time with a friend and switch off on child duty. Thank you to everyone who is working behind the scenes. Thank you to those who are donating baked goods and snacks. Thank you for volunteering for a shift at the event and helping to bring this magical night to life. β¨

PTA No Stuff Fundraiser
"No Stuff" Spotlight on Field Trips
Renting school buses is getting expensive, so the PTA dedicates $10,000 to ensure that every Woodstock student gets to go on a field trip. Please consider donating today! βMy favorite memory is chaperoning the trip to the Oregon Ballet last winter. It was the best kind of well-organized chaos, and getting to spend time with my son and his friends while on a city adventure was so much fun.β -Ashley, K and 3rd grade parent
βEvery year one of the first things students want to know is what field trips we are taking. Last year, we were able to rent buses and take all of the second grade classes to see the Oregon Ballet Theatreβs performance of Hansel and Gretel at Keller Auditorium and the Portland Youth Philharmonic at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall. The joy and awe on their faces was magical. Our students had an amazing experience at both performances. Field trips and opportunities like this would not be possible without the support of the incredible Woodstock PTA.β - Mrs. Delwisch
