After-school activities scheduled for January 17, 2024 are cancelled.

The after-school YWCA program will run as scheduled however parents are encouraged to pick their children up as early as possible.

This morning we held a Spelling Bee for students in grades 3 through 8.Each grade was represented with an overall 24 impressive contenders.

Congratulations to Cecilia Ramos for her first place finish, Kiley-Marie Wozniak for taking 2nd and Emily Brown for securing 3rd place! These Spelling Bee Champs will represent DeSales at the Diocesan competition!

Re-registration for current DeSales families will open on January 19th. For the convenience of our families, we will be using a one-step Registration Confirmation again this year. On January 19th you will receive an email inviting you to confirm your child's registration for Fall 2024. This re-registration is how you will secure your students spot for the 2024-2025 school-year.

The students of DeSales Catholic School will proudly present "Finding Nemo, Jr." live on stage at The Historic Palace Theatre on February 1st, 2nd & 3rd.

We will celebrate the Feast of St. Francis de Sales with a school-wide Mass on Wednesday, January 24th at 9:40am. All are welcome to attend.

On Sunday, January 28th from Noon until 2pm we will hold our Annual Open House. This is the day prospective families can come visit DeSales. We will need help giving tours and welcoming guests, please watch for a volunteer sign up to come out next week. Parents, students in grade 5 & up and alumni are invited to give tours at the Open House. We will give you some talking points and invite you to share your experiences with prospective families.

Our Annual Open House for new or prospective families will be held on Sunday, January 28th from Noon until 2:00pm here at DeSales. If you know someone who may be interested in DeSales, please invite them to attend this Open House.

Families who refer a new student entering Kindergarten through 8th grade are eligible for a $500 referral bonus! This bonus is given as a tuition credit 6 months after the new family begins paying tuition.

DeSales HSA will be hosting a Meat Raffle in the DeSales Gym on Saturday, February 10. Doors open at 6pm with first round starting at 7pm. *Tickets are $15 each or reserve a table of 10 for $150.* This event is for 21+

The Bison Fund Scholarship pre-application for the 2024-2025 school-year is open! This tuition assistance opportunity is open to DeSales families and if selected, is a scholarship of up to $2,500 per student. Please visit https://bisonfund.com/our-scholarships/ to apply.

The pre-application deadline is March 15, 2024. New and interested families can click on the “Apply Now” button to be placed into our lottery. Our lottery drawing is on March 16th. Families will be notified of the results by email.

**Current families do not need to fill out a pre-application, they will be emailed a renewal link to complete the renewal process and add siblings.
