Thank you for an awesome Week One at PCIS.

Thanks to your support we have greatly improved our arrival and dismissal times. Please remember, school begins at 7:45 am and we want our students to have time to grab breakfast, so let’s get here early. Students not here by 7:45 will be tardy to school unless they are still waiting in the arrival line. By the end of the week, we were able to load up all car riders during dismissal in under 30 minutes, a big improvement. We will update you once the car tags arrive. Please make sure you make arrangements to pick up your child at dismissal time, no later.

Families please make sure you update important information in the parent portal before the window closes on September 8th.

Our transportation department has worked hard to process all new transportation requests. With these additions, some pick up and drop off times will change. A few buses have also reached capacity, which means some students may be assigned a new bus number. Student safety is always our top priority, we will transition to our updated bus routes beginning this Tuesday afternoon. These changes should help improve our arrival and dismissal challenges that we have faced during the first week of school.

Our first home athletic games will take place on Monday, August 31st at 5 pm with our volleyball and soccer teams taking on Central Middle School. Game tickets are $7 and only clear bags are allowed unless you have a medical or diaper bag. We hope to see you there!

Great effort & attitude during Week One! Now that Expectations and Social Contracts are in place, let's make sure we follow them with respect each day. During transitions, please stay to the right side of the hallway and keep the noise level down while other classrooms are trying to learn. Do not walk on the window ledges and please pick up your mess at the end of your lunch each day.
