RSVP, contribute to the potluck, and volunteer at the event!

1) RSVP: Every person/family attending is asked to RSVP to allow for appropriate planning.
2) Sign up to contribute to the potluck: Nova Classical defines culture as "all the ways of life, including values, traditions, beliefs, habits, patterns of thinking, behaviors, and styles of communication, that are passed down and shared by a group of people." In other words, every family has a culture, regardless of racial, ethnic, or national identity! Every family attending is asked to contribute something to the communal potluck. Think about something that your family enjoys together and share it with the community!

Host a Cultural Booth!
Want a chance to spotlight what you love about your culture(s)? Sign up to host a Cultural Booth!
Those hosting Cultural Booths will be present at a small table to share information about your culture. You will use the table to share cultural food and display educational information about your culture, whether with a poster board, items specific to your culture, or any other aspect of your culture that you would like to share. We will also ask you to provide some facts about your culture that could be added to a slideshow that will be presented as part of the event.
Share a performance!
Are you interested in sharing a performance highlighting your culture(s)? Do you know or are you connected to a group with a unique cultural experience that they would be willing to share? Sign up to share a performance!
This year, we are hoping to expand the performance element of the event with individuals or groups sharing music, dance, recitations or storytelling, or other performances related to one or more of their cultures. We can't wait to witness the community's vast talents!
Make a monetary donation!
As the event has grown in popularity, the need for more food and drink has increased. Contributing to the potluck is a great way to contribute; however, an additional way to contribute to the success of this event is to make a monetary donation. These funds would be used to purchase additional food or drinks from various local businesses from a variety of different cultural backgrounds.
Additionally, if you know of a Nova Classical family that owns restaurants or food truck that would be interested in partnering with us for the event, please let us know at equitycoordinator@novaclassical.org!
