Dear PES Families,

Today we got to celebrate our Students of the Month!
Thank you to the families who were able to join us—it’s always special to recognize our students’ hard work and positive contributions.

We’ve started outdoor recess in the mornings again. When the playground is dry (which has been tricky this week), students will head outside upon arrival. Please make sure they’re dressed for chilly mornings.

Be sure to read through this newsletter carefully, as it includes important information about upcoming events and a message from Mr. Shultz.

Don’t forget—our Celebration of Learning is coming up on Thursday, April 17, from 5:30–6:30 PM!
We invite you to come see some of the amazing work your student has been doing—and maybe even join in on a few games! There will also be an ice cream social and a Scholastic Book Fair happening at the same time. Bobby the Bobcat might even make a surprise appearance!

Hello PES Students and Families,

Spring is here, and with spring comes one of my favorite days of the year, Children and the Arts. Now there is no need to worry, we still have about a month before the day of the festival, however, and the Art Room at PES has begun making work for this most wonderful of spring events. I am writing to you to ask for some help with gathering some supplies for this event and am hoping you can help me.

I am looking for empty tissue boxes and empty, clear, 2 liter bottles. If you happen to have any of these items and would be willing to send them in with your student to drop off in the art room, I would be so very grateful.

I would also like to extend an invitation to any and all family members who are interested in coming into the Art Room to help create our wonderful works of art for Children and the Arts. You are welcome to come any day of the week and for any time period that works best for you, all I ask is that you send me an email at my school email letting me know when you would like to come so I can inform the office!

Dear parents,

As part of our commitment to providing the best possible support and resources for students receiving special education services, we invite you to participate in the annual Parent Involvement survey conducted by the New Hampshire Department of Education (NHED).

This brief survey is to gauge the level of parent involvement in our schools and how it contributes to improving services and outcomes for children with special education. The survey window is April 11, 2025 until May 23rd, 2025. All responses are anonymous.
