Shining Brighter, Growing Stronger!
Dear Main Street Families,
Thank you to all of the parents who joined us for our Tiger of the Month Celebration. We truly appreciate your support, and we are proud to share that all recipients were present to receive their awards—a wonderful moment for our students and school community.
📅 Attendance Matters!
We are making progress! Currently, 68% of our students attend school 90% or more of the time. Our schoolwide goal is 90%, and we need your continued partnership to help us reach it.
Regular attendance is one of the most important factors in your child’s academic success. Students who attend school daily are more likely to stay on track, develop strong learning habits, and make meaningful growth in reading and math.
How you can help:
-
✅ Ensure your child arrives at school on time each morning
-
✅ Avoid early dismissals whenever possible
-
✅ Schedule appointments after school hours when you can
-
✅ Remember—every minute of instruction counts!
📝 Mid-Year Assessments
Students will continue taking their mid-year assessments next week. These assessments help teachers measure progress and plan instruction that best meets each student’s needs.
Please encourage your child to do their very best each day. It is especially important that students arrive on time and attend school daily during the assessment window so they can test in a calm, supportive environment. I was encouraged to see and hear parents motivating their children as they arrived at school—thank you for that support!
📌 Important Reminders
