FISHER PAC: Upcoming Events/Volunteer Opportunities
PAC Info
PAC events and fundraisers can only happen with the help of parent volunteers. We need event chairs, co-chairs, and planning committee members for our various initiatives -- see below for more details.
If you're interested in taking on a leadership or planning role, please complete the form linked below. Some of these events have veteran chairs, but we are looking to add co-chairs to learn the ropes and ensure continued event leadership once our veteran chairs move on.
Not interested in leadership/planning but still want to be involved? We also always need "day of" volunteers. Please indicate on the form if you'd like to help out at any of these events.

5th Grade Planning Info
The 5th Grade Class is responsible for fundraising to support the special celebrations and traditions throughout their final year at Fisher!
Past fundraisers have included Boo Bags, pencil sales, Super Bowl Squares, 5th Grade Bingo, and more. Funds support 5th grade gifts, yearbooks, a class gift to Fisher, the end-of-year celebration, and Moving On Ceremony decorations.
The fundraising and special event planning are fully parent-led efforts, and we hope as many families as possible will pitch in however they can to make this an amazing year for our 5th graders!
Be on the lookout for info regarding a kick-off meeting soon — the hope is to find point people to lead each initiative, with volunteers backing each.
Please include your contact info using the Google Form below to stay in the loop on all things 5th Grade planning/celebrations. This distribution list will be the primary form of communication.News from the Health Office
Please review these important guidelines regarding our school health procedures and injury policies. These guidelines help keep our students safe, healthy, and ready to learn.
🩹 Student Injuries & Physical Activity Restrictions
Notify the Nurse: Parents must report any physical limitations to the school nurse.
Doctor's Note for PE: Required if a student misses PE for more than one week. The note must include the exact restriction and its duration.
Morning Check-In: Any student coming to school with stitches, cast, sling, ace wrap, hard splint, air boot, or crutches must check in with the nurse before the first class.
🌳 PE and Recess Guidelines During Healing
Active Play Restrictions: Students with documented head injuries, stitches, or protective coverings (casts, splints, air boots) cannot participate in PE or active recess.
Quiet Recess Option: With the nurse's permission, students can participate in "quiet outdoor recess" (sitting outside at a designated area to read, play board games, or do puzzles with friends).
Indoor Recess: If a student cannot stay safely in the quiet area, the principal and nurse will arrange for them to stay indoors.
✅ Returning to Full Activities
Once fully healed and coverings are removed, a doctor's note must be submitted stating that the student may participate in all activities without restrictions.
