The Role of a Learning Coach
The Learning Coach is the primary support source at the home such as a parent or guardian. Student's can have multiple Learning Coaches. As your child's Learning Coach, you will:
- Provide academic support, motivation, and guidance throughout the school year
- Ensure your child is on track with assignments and coursework
- Communicate with teachers
- Learning Coaches do not need to record attendance

Special Programs
MOVA has services for students that have a current IEP or are in need of added academic supports.
- During enrollment, if you identified your child as having a current IEP, one of our special education teachers will be reaching out to you.
- Services will begin once MOVA has a copy of the current IEP from your child's previous school district.
- If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our Special Programs Administrator Kylee Angell (kangell@missouriva.org).
