Dear SHS Families,

On December 18th, SHS will undergo an Accreditation Review. During this process, an outside agency will evaluate our school’s leadership capacity, learning capacity, and resources capacity. Components of the review include interviews with a parent/guardian focus group, a student focus group, and a staff focus groups. Thank you in advance to everyone participating in this important process.

I also want to express my gratitude for the many thoughtful responses and comments to the survey I sent out regarding your perceptions of SHS and our social and academic climate. The results will first be shared at the upcoming Partnership Council meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, December 10, from 5:30 to 7:00 pm in the SHS library. The main focus of this meeting will be to set priorities based on the survey results. Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend; I value your input in this process. Refreshments will be provided.

I look forward to seeing you there!

Sincerely,

Principal da Silva
