The MN Office of Higher Education is excited to host another year of College Planning Series webinars. This series of virtual college and financial aid webinars are created specifically for students and families.
Each session is hosted virtually on Zoom, and is interpreted into Spanish, Hmong, and Somali. We also offer a live Q&A. Students who attend are able to enter a drawing for a $1,000 scholarship.

IN THIS COURSE, YOU WILL:
Train for an in-demand career as a Personal Care Assistant.
Earn your Minnesota DHS PCA Certificate.
Earn CPR & First Aid Certification.
Prepare for employment with local PCA agencies.

Advanced ESL+
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Phlebotomy
Monday-Friday (In-Person at Hopkins)
SESSION: March 22 - March 26, 2027
HOURS: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
IN THIS COURSE, YOU WILL:
Learn professional blood collection techniques.
Complete a 40-hour hands-on training program.
Earn a Twin Cities Medical Certificate of Completion.
Prepare for and take the National Phlebotomy Certification Exam. An exam fee of $129 applies.*
WHO CAN ENROLL?:
Advanced ESL+
Hold a GED or High School Diploma
Government issued-photo ID
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
REGISTRATION OPENS: Jan, 2027
Last day to register: March 15, 2027
*The course is free, but students agree to pay the exam fee ($129)
Certified Nursing Assistant

IN THIS COURSE, YOU WILL:
Learn the essential skills to become a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Receive ESL support while completing your training.
Prepare for and take the Minnesota CNA Exam.
Build the skills employers are looking for.
