We continue to work with various government agencies and local pharmacies to determine the next steps for vaccine distribution to our employees. The District is assisting all employees who wish to get vaccinated with making their first and second appointments. We are hopeful that the process will be complete in the upcoming weeks.

Thanks to everyone who completed our fourth quarter planning survey! Your feedback is greatly appreciated. Results will be discussed at our Board of Education Committee of the Whole Meeting on Thursday, February 11 at 7 pm.

After needs and programming are assessed, families will be asked to commit to a fourth quarter learning option for their students. Fourth quarter officially begins Wednesday, April 7.

D140's COVID-19 Dashboard provides the community with current information regarding districtwide positive COVID-19 cases and quarantine information. It will be updated each Friday by 10:00 am.

D140 students, teachers, and parents will be given the opportunity to have a voice in improving their schools by taking the annual statewide Illinois 5Essentials Survey from February 3 through April 2, 2021.

These surveys will serve as an opportunity for schools to reflect on progress since the last statewide implementation. School and District leaders use their 5Essentials data to better inform their school improvement plans and help identify key strengths and areas for growth. Your identity and survey responses will be kept completely confidential and will never be connected to you or your child.
