Stay in the Game! 🏈
Congratulations to 3rd grader Julius Terwilliger for being the first 'Stay in the Game' winner! Julius had perfect attendance the week of September 9th and won tickets to the Brown's home opener! Despite the loss, the smile on his face shows what a great time he had!!!
Groundbreaking Ceremony
Yesterday, two lucky students at Maple were selected to represent our school at the Groundbreaking Ceremony. First grader, Ray Pop and second grader, Imani Humpage joined me and several staff members to celebrate the new PK-5 building! Our superintendent and school board president gave remarks that focused on moving towards our future. The event showcased the excitement on the project and we can't wait until it's complete!!
Classroom Connections 💡
As we continue to work on setting our students up for success, please check out some of the learning that has been taking place over the past couple of weeks here at Maple.
We BELIEVE
Every student here at Maple helped to created a "believe" feather that when assembled together creates our Maple Wings. Led by Ms. Purich, these artists each designed feathers unique to themselves! We believe we can FLY!
Circle of ME
Learners in Ms. Heim's class continue to build their classroom community by sharing their likes and dislikes that make them all unique. At the same time, they recognize similiarites in each other!
Hopes & Dreams
Our 2nd grade scholars have been discussing their "hopes & dreams" for the year. Here you can see one student from Mrs. Nudelman's class hopes to become a stronger writer this school year!
Father/Special Person's Walk
Please consider joining us this Thursday for National Father's (or Special Person) Walk to School Day!! Since Maple is surroundi bed so many side-streets, park along one and walk your child to school. We will have staff members passing out stickers to those that participate and taking photos, both in the front and back of the school.
Our school day begins at 8:10, however students may begin entering at 7:55am. Once you arrive at school and are given your sticker for participating, your child may enter the building just like a typical day. Thank you for those that are able to participate!!!
Back to School Forms
Please be sure that you have updated your Back to School Forms in the Parent Portal! In order to receive important communication, such as when school is cancelled, this needs to be completed annually.
If you have forgotten your password and need your account to be reset, please contact Mrs. Miller in the office. She can also walk you through the process over the phone. The Parent Portal link can be found below.
