CELEBRATIONS🎉
🌟 Polaris Honors Society Induction Ceremony
Oshkosh North’s Polaris Honors Society held its annual induction ceremony on Monday, April 6. This year, Polaris welcomed 19 new official members and 38 probationary members, while also celebrating 37 graduating senior members.
Polaris students demonstrate strong commitment both in and out of the classroom. Members are required to maintain a GPA of 3.35 or higher, volunteer at least 10 hours each semester, and actively support Polaris-sponsored events.
During the 2025–2026 school year, Polaris members contributed over 900 hours of service to our school and the greater community—a truly impressive accomplishment!
Congratulations to these outstanding student leaders for their dedication, leadership, and service!
Congratulations to our impressive robotics team for winning the prestigious Seven Rivers Impact award! Wish them luck as they head to the STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS!
Wave Robotics is your Seven Rivers Impact Award Winner!
Seven Rivers District Event was amazing! We won the Impact Award- "the most prestigious award in FIRST" that honors the team who best embodies the FIRST mission through our outreach and involvement in the community. We are beyond thrilled to be going to State Championships through this award!
2826 also had an incredible weekend when it came to our robot- we were ranked 15th in Qualifications and made to playoffs in Alliance 6 as RoboCats's 1st pick alongside igKnightion Robotics!
Thank you so much to all our sponsors and supporters- we couldn't have done all of this without you!
An additional thank you to all of the Seven Rivers event volunteers, Mathy Construction for presenting the event, and the La Crosse Center venue for a great weekend!
It seems like all there is left to say is... see you at State Championships!

2. NEW: Register for Sports Camps via Infinite Campus

Registration for OASD summertime sports camps - including basketball, gymnastics, volleyball, soccer, and football - is now live in the Infinite Campus (IC) School Store. Opportunities start for students entering first grade.
We hope this "one-stop-shop" makes it easier for your family to see every opportunity available in one place. Plus, as part of the process, you'll be able to sign required forms needed for each camp.
How to Sign Up for OASD Sports Camps

🐸 Dissecting animals? FROG-get about it!
For the 2025-2026 school year, Oshkosh North is pleased to announce a partnership with TeachKind on a new, science education pilot program to teach eye, heart, and frog anatomy using effective, ethical, and economical non-animal methods.
Options for students will include paper, foam, plastic, and synthetic models like the Kind Frog. The Kind Frog is a synthetic, dissectible frog model that has been saving thousands of frogs from the dissection tray, as a result, combating ecosystem disruption.
Biology teacher, Stacey Markon, will be participating in the TeachKind Pilot Program and is looking forward to offering students an alternative to animal dissection. All participants (teachers and students) will be required to complete satisfaction surveys after the activities.

The concession stand is one of the biggest ways they make that support possible, and they can’t do it without volunteers. Parents are encouraged to help, and students are also welcome to volunteer. Please consider signing up to support our Spartan community at the link below. If your student participates in a sport, please add their sport after your name when signing up.
