Good Afternoon, CUSD,
A big thank you to everyone who attended our recent Volunteer Training at both Silver Strand and Village Schools. We were so impressed and grateful for the nearly 100 parents who attended our training! Volunteers are the heart of our district, helping us empower students and strengthen our schools every day.
As a quick reminder, adhering to the Volunteer Code of Conduct, signed during the clearance process, helps protect student privacy and maintain a positive campus culture. We are truly grateful for your generous support and dedication.
Get ready for an exciting show next week! CoSA Digital Arts department will host its highly anticipated annual Horror Nights production, featuring this year’s theme: "Myths and Magic: Tales from the Edge of Reality." This immersive, mythological horror show will take place over two nights only, on Tuesday, October 27th and Thursday, October 29th, 2026, inside the Black Box Theater at Coronado High School. Doors open each night at 6:00 p.m. See flyer below for more information.
Have a safe and wonderful weekend,
Karl J. Mueller
Superintendent
