From the Principal's Mind...

Dear Grizzly Families,

Hurray! Another full week with our students and families. I look forward to seeing any of you who are available on Friday, whether for Wrap Up or our Halloween Parade.

We also have Time Change happening on Sunday morning. It could be a busy week!

My note is short this week and my Wrap Up just a little late as I've been out of town for a family funeral. I hope my tardiness is not inconvenient for you. I've been reminded of the importance of the relationships we build and how investing in people is critical.

Here's a reminder that School District's Culture & Climate Survey is still open for Families and Communities. QR codes are available around the building, in Class Dojo, and below. Your survey is open until November 13th. Each of our families' voices is important. In advance, thank you for taking the time to let us know how we might partner better with you and to celebrate with us the things we are doing well. It all matters! Family Survey Link or Community Survey Link

As always, If you need anything, call, send me a private message via Class Dojo, or email at kathy.sather@tsd.org. Your child(ren) matter and our partnership to support them does as well!

Meal Benefits: Do I need to fill it out? Yes!

All families are still highly encouraged to fill out an application. Why? The Healthy School Meals for All (HSMA) program is funded in partnership with federal nutrition programs that rely on income information to support meals for all students. Other state and federal grants are awarded based on free and reduced meal eligibility rates.

Additionally, families that qualify may receive discounted or waived fees for programs inside and outside of the school district. Applications are available to all households at school sites and online at linqconnect.com. Applications need to be completed annually (after mid-July) for the new school year. The information provided on the application is confidential and is not shared without your consent.

Linq Connect is your “one stop shop” for information and resources including menus, student meal accounts and household income / meal eligibility applications. It’s easy to register – just go to linqconnect.com to get started. You may also access information through

the main TSD website by clicking on Departments and Nutrition Services.
