It has been a great week at Wolf Ridge. We had our first "Respect the Red" drawings today during K-5 lunch times. Since the beginning of the year, students have been able to earn coupons to be placed in the drawing for today. We try to emphasize that sometimes we win and sometimes we don't but the main reason we Respect the Red is not for the coupon or the prize. We want to contribute positively to our school community. Ask your child if they have earned a Respect the Red coupon.

Students in K-5 received Respect the Red coupons when they are caught doing the right thing at Wolf Ridge. We then have a drawing during the K-5 lunches for prizes. Students can choose between coupons or a prize. The coupons are for many different things such as using the principal's chair for a day, wearing pajamas for a day, doing the morning announcements and more.

Below are the remind codes for each junior high class. Teachers will text reminders about homework assignments, upcoming events and more. All you have to do is text the code below to 81010. If you do not want to receive texts, then you can download the Remind app.

Remind your child to use their class time and WIN (What I Need) period wisely to complete class work. While students may take longer to complete assignments at the beginning of the year, most of our junior high students should not have a lot of homework if they use their class time to complete it.

We encourage all junior high girls to come to the first girls basketball practices on these days. See above for more information. (Please be sure your child has an updated physical in the office.)

Students will be dismissed at 12:30. This day marks the end of the 1st Quarter.

We will have a safety drill in the morning. Law enforcement will be present to supervise.

PFK will host FNL at Wolf Ridge on this evening from 6:30-8:00. All 3rd-5th grade students are invited if they are in attendance at school this day.

PFK will host class parties for K-5 students starting at 1:30 on this day. There will be a costume parade starting at 1:00 in the gym. Parents are invited to watch the parade and join in the fun.
