NOVEMBER'22UPDATES A Newsletter Publication by Children's Wishing Well

Shrink Plastic Key Chain

We recently held our first-ever evening Youth Program, DIY Shrink Plastic Key Chain and our youth loved it!

They were given the freedom to draw anything they wanted on a piece of plastic before turning them into cute mini keychains. They were so engrossed and amazed by the entire process that they almost lost track of time.

Look at how focused they are!

A Sister's Bond

When asked "Who is your role model?", Qadeeja, 10-year-old, said "My older sister."

Though they are pretty close in age, it is heartwarming to see such a mature and loving relationship they have for each other.

Creative freedom

What would you make if you had clay and the freedom to create anything?

Our children were excited to unleash their creativity when they attended a clay making workshop with volunteers. The facilitators took about 15 minutes to teach them some basic techniques of clay making and colour blending before they explored their creative nature.

Penguins, ducks, flowers, bees and so many more interesting creations were born. We were surprised by how complex some of the pieces were despite the short amount of time they had! 🌻🐝

3d elective

The children over at our Clementi centre have recently completed their elective, 3D printing and modelling. This 7-week programme was a great way to boost their creativity and problem-solving skills. It also challenged their visual and geometrical skills when learning to 3D model.

Take a look at the end product they made - cute little cups! ☕️

aia football clinic

Our little ones rececently attended a football clinic organised by AIA Singapore. From technical soccer drills to their friendly tournament, the children had a fun time sweating it out. Their session was coached by international development coaches, Shannon Moloney and Jerome Baker as well as the coaches from Football Association of Singapore ⚽️

Proceeds raised from the ticket registration sales will go towards supporting our children, youth, and families at CWW. Thank you AIA Singapore for hosting and organising this initiative!

Watch this space!
