🍂November brings a season of reflection, gratitude, and new opportunities across the SOESC community. We’re grateful not only for our strong partnerships with districts, but also for the dedication, collaboration, and talent within our own organization that makes our work possible. 🤝✨

In this issue, you’ll find updates on recent collaborations, growing services, and professional learning opportunities. We’re also sharing program highlights, staff and district spotlights, and key dates to help you plan for the weeks ahead. 📅🌟

Thank you for the dedication and heart you bring to the students, families, and educators we support. Your work continues to shape stronger schools and communities across our region. 💛

We hope this month’s Connection keeps you informed, inspired, and ready for what’s ahead.

We’re thrilled to highlight Lisa Curtis, one of our amazing occupational therapists, as our first MVP of the Month!

Lisa's nominator let us know that Lisa noticed that many students she works with were struggling academically due to poor vision. She then connected Miami Trace with the iSee program, helping provide free full eye exams and glasses to over 50 students. Her initiative ensured these students could see clearly, learn confidently, and thrive in school. Lisa’s dedication, creativity, and heart for helping others perfectly reflect our SOESC values: 🌟 Champion for Children, 🤝 Ambassador of the ESC, and 💚 Be Well.

Lisa’s work reminds us how one person’s passion and problem-solving can create real change in the lives of students and the community. Thank you, Lisa, for all you do to support our staff, students, and community!

👏 Who will be next? Help us celebrate the incredible work happening across SOESC by voting for our next MVP of the Month! Voting is open now through December 31, 2025 via this link: https://bit.ly/SOESCMVP. Don’t miss the chance to recognize someone who inspires and makes a difference every day!

And don’t forget—share your excitement and celebrate our MVPs on social media using #SOESCMVP! 🎉📣
