Life is Sweet at Ault! 2025-26
Principal's Corner
Hello Ault Families!
As we look ahead to 2026, I am filled with pride and excitement about all the wonderful things happening at our school. Thanks to the energy, support, and partnership of our students, staff, and families, our school community continues to grow stronger every day.
The spring semester will be packed with memorable experiences for our students. One highlight we can’t wait for is our Spring Carnival on March, 27th—a joyful tradition filled with laughter, games, and time together as a community. We’ve also got several exciting music programs scheduled for the spring.
Learning will continue well beyond our classroom walls with engaging field trips planned throughout the year. These experiences help bring lessons to life and inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning in our students.
Most importantly, 2026 will continue to be a year where we focus on kindness, growth, and creating a safe, supportive place where every child can shine. Thank you for being such an important part of our school family. We truly couldn’t do this without you.
Here’s to an exciting year ahead—we can’t wait to share it with you!

Code of Conduct Input & Feedback
CFISD seeks input from all stakeholders in updating the Student Handbook and Code of Conduct. Please fill out the form to provide feedback by February 6, 2026.
Bringing Out the Best: January
The January Bringing Out the Best trait is 👍ACCOUNTABILITY👍. Students will learn that accountability means taking responsibility for your words and actions.
Accountability looks like 👀
- following directions
- correcting your mistakes
- doing your part
Accountability sounds like 👂
- saying "please"
- saying "thank you"
- saying "I'm sorry" when needed
At home, you can reinforce the idea of accountability with your child. Discuss the following scenarios to talk through what accountability looks like and ask, "How can you show accountability in each of these scenarios?":
- You left your Chromebook at home.
- You accidentally bumped into someone in line.
- You broke a glass at home.
- You dropped trash under the cafeteria table at lunch.
Sincerely,
Ms. Dickerson & Mrs. Breidenthal

Attendance Matters!
As assistant principals at Ault, we also oversee attendance in partnership with our registrar. When your child's attendance rate drops below 90% (regardless of whether absences are excused or unexcused), we will reach out to you to implement an Attendance Contract.

Attendance Champions
CFISD is celebrating the efforts of students, families and learning communities with student attendance. 67 campuses achieved Attendance Champion status with an attendance rate of 95% or higher for the second reporting period of the 2025-26 school year.
Way to Go All-STARS on being one of the 67 campuses in CFISD! Every day at Ault is a GREAT DAY TO BE AN ALL-STAR.
Take Care of Your Tech!
Our student Chromebooks are valuable learning tools that are used every day at school. It's so important that we take care of them, so we are prepared to learn!
When intentional damages occur, you may be charged for the cost of fixing or replacing your child's Chromebook.
