West End Dolphin Pod Squad,

What a fantastic first full week of the 2025–2026 school year! It’s been wonderful seeing our #DolphinPodSquad settling into routines, building friendships, and diving into learning with energy and excitement.

🎖️ Safety Patrol in Action!
This week marked the beginning of our Safety Patrol's important work! These student leaders have been a tremendous help during morning arrival and afternoon dismissal—keeping things moving smoothly and, most importantly, helping keep everyone safe. Way to go, team!

🐬 Official Welcome to Our Newest Dolphins!
On Thursday, we officially welcomed our K4 students as they began their journey in the new SDPC Academy of Early Learning with Mrs. Fain and Mrs. Gifford. We are thrilled to have the entire pod together now—it already feels like they’ve always been part of the family!

🚗 Car Line Reminder
Thank you for your continued patience and cooperation during car line. A friendly reminder: once you’ve looped around and are nearing the front of the school, both lanes must merge. Think of it like merging in the drive-thru at Chick-fil-A—“each one, let one.” A little kindness goes a long way. Let’s work together and show grace to one another. After all, we’re all part of the same pod!

We sent home the draft version of our Title I Policies on Meet the Teacher night as well as with any students unable to attend Meet the Teacher on the first day of school. We ask for your feedback on these no later than this Friday, August 15.
