Take Responsibility: Pinney Palooza

Save the date for Pinney Palooza, September 20th from 5:00-8:00. This fun filled community event sponsored by our PTO is always one of the highlights of the fall. As part of the evening (and weeks leading up to the event) we will be partnering with One Dublin to collect gently used children's shoes and new children's socks to benefit our community. We also need help to make the event run smoothly, please consider volunteering using the link below.

Better Together: Start With Hello Week

Pinney will once again be participating in Start With Hello, a nationally recognized week born from the Sandy Hook Promise, during the week of September 16th. Start With Hello teaches students to build connections, end loneliness, and help each other. We will have themed spirit days and activities in the classrooms and building to encourage our Pinney Panthers to keep being Better Together.

Note about Media Center Opt Outs

As part of the annual back to school update, parents were asked if they would like to receive an email notification of their student’s book checkout. If you opted in to receiving email notifications for your student’s book checkout, the ability for him/her to independently check out a book will not be an option. A media specialist or library aide will need to check out the books allowing them to send an email receipt.

If you no longer wish to receive these notifications, please complete this form. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact our school media specialist or building administrator.

Panorama

Student wellness is an essential component of educating the whole child. Here at Pinney, students will take the Panorama survey on between September 19 - October 1. Please see the parent information letter below. Included in the letter is the parent opt out form if you do not wish your child to take part in this questionnaire.

If you have questions about how this questionnaire helps us meet District goals or the process we use, please contact Dublin City Schools’ Director of Student Wellness, Tyler Wolfe at wolfe_tyler@dublinschools.net.
