Guiding Eyes for the Blind presentation for our 6th graders!
April 9th Guide Dog in training
We had a wonderful visit on Wednesday! A big thank you two of our Sixth-grade students Benjamin and Luke Battles, along with their mom, Sauwai. The family is currently raising a Guiding Eyes for the Blind (GEB) puppy named Coconut. Coconut could not join us Wednesday, but Natasha did!
Sixth-grade students, learned about guide dog training and what it takes for puppies to become guide dogs. The assembly included a presentation, and students also got the chance to meet Natasha!
Natasha was very well mannered and shows us how smart she is by performing some verbal and non verbal commands.
Thank you to the Battles for making this special presentation happen and for all you do in service to others!

WEB exists to support a school climate Where Everybody Belongs.
